Organized by the

in Mobile Information and Communication Systems (NCCR MICS)
Following the NCCR MICS tradition of an open dialogue between research and industry, in January 2008 NCCR MICS is organizing an open event on the possibilities, potential impact, and applications of wireless sensor networks. The program will be organized along three themes: research, science, and industry, so as to cover all key aspects of the technology, from the current state of the art to the problems ahead, and including perspectives from the industry on the challenges ahead as well as from potential users on their needs and plans for the technology.
We have prepared an exciting program with a number of high caliber, international speakers from both academia and industry who will provide a wide perspective on the technology and its uses. There will also be plenty of opportunities to see all the research activities currently carried out, to interact with the researchers involved in the different projects, and to see the technology in action in a number of demonstrations.
Please join us for this exciting and interesting event to discuss the future of wireless technology.
For questions regarding the conference please contact Prof. G. Alonso.
For all questions regarding the organization (hotels, demos, etc.), contact either Simonetta Zysset or Eva Ruiz.
